frg_Away: you're one of the deemed hg experts do you know how to limit threads so i can just let it churn to get mozilla-central on here instead of firefox-main?

since ive never gotten theoretical git support to work in crossref and mozilla is leaving hg I'd like to remove the vcs features from the crossref which pretty much amount to reading a few revisions from hg .. frg_Away IanN_Away do either of you need the specific hg features of the crossref since mozilla imposed and keeps the secret of annotations to them selves for now?

searchfox is only really doing git blame stuff on firefox-main anyway even tho it CLAIMS full annotation

I am still using hg with central and this still works for me: hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central

git just plain s*cks if you use patch based checkins but as usual molzilla knows what is best.

git blame is a joke in searchfox and always use the hg based annotations.

hg is now redirected to hg-edge.mozilla.org/mozilla-central usually

I mean git log is a joke and I use hg log. The blame information is probably also still from hg but not sure.

right but the point is i can't have hg using all those cores i am fine with waiting but not fine with the sever being taken down cause i cloned an hg repo

maybe i can clone it here and just transfer it

pulling shouldn't be too bad its just that inital clone
