Which SM instance running here on other virtual desktops popped up a complaint on the active virtual desktop with no running SM windows that an available update could not be found?

I see on archive.seamonkey-project.org/#nightly/comm-253-latest 2.53.25b1 just a few days old. What happened to 2.53.24? seamonkey-project.org/releases/seamonkey2.53.24 is not found.

2.53.24b1 is done and should be uploaded shortly.

a-865: there's usually a window where a beta release isn't made or uploaded yet but b1pre already has the next version number

a-865: if you still want help identifying the no update found window, check the Window menu

unless that's a different sort of window somehow (I can't check right now, sorry), it will show up win the window menu of the instance it belongs to

(that menu has, at the top, the entries for the different suite components, and below that, after a separator, a list of windows

njsg: that popup had no menu for selecting anything about anything, apparently assuming one only runs one SM version at a time, which hasn't been the case here for something like 18 years. I use official for browser and email on one virtual desktop, and betas for browser and CZ on another.

njsg: I hadn't seen an update available announcement popup in nearly as long.

not sure I ever have, as there is or at least was a disabler for it.
