oh my god, found a website that gets VERY ANGRY if I fire up devtools!

It's... a file locker

need to export some cookies to please JDownloader, and of course the site doesn't work on SM, so I fire up FFESR

when I open Devtools... the site REDIRECTS TO ABOUT:BLANK

no matter how hard I mash Escape

this is... war

how sites can even detect Devtools?!

...and of course FF no longer has a built-in cookie viewer other than devtools

tomman: I think one thing to detect devtools was automated download of .map files or what it was for the source view or line numbers or what it was

franstam: probably to force animations upon everyone and deliver a terrible experience to both people who can't withstand animations and people who don't have very high end GPUs? just guessing, have to see what it is :-P
