is there a way to get to the "add search engine" option of sites which advertise a search engine definition file, other than the search bar? I've always used the search bar, I think, but now I was wondering if this is accessible in some other part of the UI

well, I guess an extension isn't needed, it does show in the search bar

if it was me I might just use the scratchpad in chrome mode
