random survey cause you happened to be here: Do you prefer a list view or a tile/card view for add-ons listings and when you did go AMOing did you search or sort by popular, most downloaded etc

these are artifacts from when I scraped and downloaded all 19 thousand firefox extensions from AMO before Mozilla cleared the xul ones

ATBN runs the same AMO v3 api in use in 2018

so it follows I can query atbn and get everything public least in terms of basic metadata versions icon

but the question then is .. do you present it as if it is just continued from AMO to ATBN to ASMO

or dump it in a basic archive for pilfering and forking and preservation

While I personally agree an archive needs made or at least captured for later.. I don't know if it is wise to attempt to scrape, sort, and try and mangle a majority that aren't getting updates.

MattATobin best to start from scrath. Might mean no add-ons but 90% on the current site including themes is basically non working junk. Only dictionaries are ok.

still gonna need basically an ID blacklist to prevent someone submitting an add-on with an existing id luckily it won't be over 19 thousand entries for SM lol.
