they're gone and I've cleared joins and parts and quits already - but, for logbot, I guess often the workflow would be bugzilla report (either finding an existing one or filling a new one) and then attaching the code as mercurial patches to the bug
-
njsg
ah, and then asking for feedback or review. to discuss the change this channel ( irc://libera.chat/%23seamonkey ) is probably a good venue, if it is not suitable, there is a USENET group too. There's also a mailing list bridged to Gmane, but it's much less used than the USENET group.

er, to make it clear, by asking for feeback or review I meant the bugzilla part; of course it's okay to talk about it before or in comments, it's just that these bugzilla flags are part of the workflow. I should have split the above message into two :-)

tomman: "There are three current engines" well, I rest my case.
-
WG9s
well must be pulling a lot of freight then.
-
tomman
WG9s: Antonov was right: the correct number of engines was SIX
-
» njsg goes check Entroncamento for six Co'Co'
-
WG9s
funny thing is. speaking f engines, people don't get that diesel train engines are electric. all electric drive with a deisel generator to produce the electricity
-
WG9s
tomman: I thought the correct number was 42
-
njsg
that's fun: there are *precisely* six 1930 at Entroncamento.
-
njsg
WG9s: that can lead to some confusion with the term "diesel-electric", it's not a vehicle that can both use an external source of electricity and diesel, but a such a diesel vehicle with electric motors.
-
WG9s
well that is how diesel locmotives have sorked since at elast he 1960's
-
njsg
I think all diesel locomotives in service in .pt, at least those that aren't new, are diesel-electric
-
njsg
multiple units, on the other hand, are mostly not diesel-electric, except for the oldest class
-
njsg
but there aren't many of these, anyway: 0450, double units, used to have rolls-royce engines (as 0400). 592 triple units from Renfe are also not diesel-electric, but 0350, that were even slated to be scrapped, *are* diesel-electric from Allan of Rotterdam.

(six engines, Bo'Bo' and twe two generators)

have you heard of that MIT-licensed OS recently released by IBM and Microsoft?
