I could just use Vivaldi then 100%. Aas suite like as it comes in Chrome flavor.

if i didn't just.. have a sour taste for email and cared about composer i'd totally go for it.. all the parts are .. generally there by some means

I have found that while purely xul elements like browser will obey xul layout rules it will only do so according to html and body bounds so a tip is to make html and body 100% height

that gets stuff to flow and layout more like xul

it is a trick I use on my sites actually

the best sidebyside would be if I made an effort to just clone borealis in mozxhtml but that is a huge ass project even without mailnews and composer to deal with and that means figuring out everything like this from experience and reference from firefox and thunderbird

my example application is already gonna have places and downloads but not tabbed browsing so..

and a preferences window.. but NO MORE lol it's a reference not a thing in and of its self.

and yes, I will attempt to recreate our style of prefwindow not in-content or aviary toolkit style

frg_Away: if you dislike mozxhtml i think once you look into how vivaldi works will upset you more lol

no intention to look at any code outside comm-release and -central again. mozilla-central only for backports. Life is too short.
