If you don't like Wayland perhaps you should go back to W (the predecessor of X) you probably had no lue why X was claled X previous version was W for Windows so next version was X instead of Y they are claling it Wayland.

So I'll have to look into this as soon as I figure out whether Hipster will even work on the old laptop at all.
