frg_Away: if the window is merely an applet shell and it loads disperate interfaces in a tabbed model does tabs on bottom make sense?

it would be like adding tabbed browsing to IE 4 and switching back and forth between windows and internet explorer modes

the tabs disconnect the applet from its toolbox in that configuration

and in my impl that would be quite infeasable to pull off

CaptainTobin I always liked to have tabs on top of the content. Way easier to spot. Just a personal preference. Do a poll you will have a 100 different opinions :)

well frg_Away think of it this way.. the applet shell is a window manager, the tab bar is a taskbar, and tab content is a window with no tabbed browsing of its own

basically trying to be what mailtabs in concept is TRYING to be but isn't actually implimented that way

the closest existing example i can say is thunderbird with lightning

but i want that for everything on the same level .. applets and app-like extensions alike .. sort of like a prepped canvas and a selection of premixed colors but you don't have to even grab them if you don't want em.. but you do need the canvas.

has anyone ever tried attaching an xml stylesheet to an nsRDF file?

missing all my greasemonkey userscripts after updating to 2.53.15

the tooltip shows the correct number of scripts when I hover the gm toolbar icon and it even seems to display them for a split second in Add-ons Manager, but they aren't being run. tried uninstalling/reinstalling gm.
