it was using nsIScriptableDateFormat that caused the problem

now replaced.

Yeah we left it in for a while but it started to block later locale critical locale apis and was basically untested. The old sync bookmarks api will go too when I find some time in case you use this one. Everything which uses it is probably broken already so no loss.
