argh, return key was a mm out of place

I am attempting to use google translate's website, but I'm stuck on the "this connection is untrusted" page. When I try to add it as an exception, it just refreshes the page.

It says "This site attempts to identify itself with invalid information." When viewing the certificate, it says the issuer is unkown. The issue is, it's just the google translate page that opened when I used the "translate page" button.

It even replaced the built in duckduckgo search bar with a "this connection is untrusted" page.

Sousacyle: might you have an antivirus (or similar) that is interfering ?

therube: the error occurs when are trying to translate a page with Google translate, has nothing to do with av or similar

therube: when setting the pref as discussed a few days ago, the translation works and the error is gone

therube: change dom.enable_performance_navigation_timing;false to false or privacy.resistFingerprinting;false to true

I had the same error, i think as the script stops with a error message in the console , the cookie will never be set

hardys: heh. i'm mixing up people & didn't realize. anyhow, if i set either of those Prefs so that Translate (again) works, the page translates, but i'm not seeing anything about "untrusted" ?

it occurred only on specific pages

in Console, i see something about 'require-trusted-types-for', but it works
