tommanPSA: Palefill 1.24 switched polyfills to some inhouse ones, and those do NOT work properly on SeaMonkey - I suggest switching back to 1.23
-
tommanapparently it's because the new polyfill doesn't implement Shadow DOM at all?

-
tommanI now get loads of "TypeError: this.attachShadow is not a function"
-
tommanand this: "TypeError: DarkTree: NodePrototype.getRootNode is available, but ShadowDOM is not."
-

frg_Awaytomman Bug 1269155 "Consider renaming Node.rootNode because of web compatibility issues" implemented GetRootNode. It is in Gecko 53 so might not be present in orginally 52 based browsers. Without Palefill and web components enabled via pref github pages display correctly for me but I didn't try anything fancy.

tommanyay, Bugzilla is down~ (and it seems the dino still survives deep into the Mozilla infra, despite all attempts to erase it)
-
frg_Awaytomman when they move it and source 100% to github you will know that the end is near.

SousacycleWhat's the best free proxy for SeaMonkey?

a-865is there rust malware that can affect via SM?
-
frg_Awaytomman so be it. I am tired of all these political games and the fragmentation. It is not my or IanNs browser alone. Could be better tied to dom.webcomponents.enabled but I am not putting it in and testing if it breaks other sites.

tommanfrg_Away: makes sense indeed

frg_Awaytomman btw. it is not shadow DOM only: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Node/getRootNode
