I can't seem to find the ads blocker on the weksite???

in plugins.

you either need to turn on webcomponents temporary or use another browser for github.

Or use the Palefill add-on for accessing github but chicken and egg because on github.

Had fund the website I can see but was waiting for the assets to download, I think that is the place where they should be...

Yes that is why you either need to torn on webcomponents in config (still work in progress so not default) or use another browser to access it.

Set dom.webcomponents.customelements.enabled and dom.webcomponents.enabled to true temporary.

so that's the tag shown in the "heading" link at the end of the URL, looks like links might be the same except for the tag and expanded_assets part, copying the link target and replacing one with another might work
