maybe use the color scheme i introduced into MY security statusbar panel.. to indicate no change for default permissions, green for explicit allow permission and red for explicit deny permission

that also would free up the tools menu quite a bit

I changed the new tab icon back but altered it to better fit in.. I also slightly modified and assigned the allBookmarks icon to the toolbar button

I am next gonna make it when the button is on a toolbar that the bookmarks menu hides its self

cause redundant menu lol

also gonna duplicate and mod it to be a history menu button as well

JS-heavy websites of course are going to tax your RAM hard

2.5GB is basically too little for the modern Googlenet™

I haven't checked RAM usage at startup for 32-bit, but for 64-bit with a few addons, ~300Mb is rather normal

oh, any addons in use? Adblockers can be quite hungry, too

Right now I'm on 64-bit Linux, ~30 tabs open, and SeaMonkey is using ~1.5GB

(30 tabs, most of them are imageboards)

Oh, have you tried about:memory?

after doing GC+CC once each, RAM usage drops ~200MB

Just booted my ol' Thinkpad to Debian - stock SeaMonkey stable, no addons, clean profile

RAM usage right at startup is ~186MB

(32-bit)

increased to ~200MB after a few minutes just idling

...and it's now at 211MB after 10 minutes doing nothing

wonder why

tomman usually safebrowsing list fetches and if uBlock these too among other things.

~15 minutes later it's at 212MB and staying there

idle gc too.

nearly 2 hours later, my idle 32-bit instance has been sitting comfortably at 214MB

this sets the reference point nicely
