hmm seems rather odd. most of the changes that have landed recently have to do with building not running.

Oh I woonder if one of them ma have made it do hardware graphics acceleration in caes where it did not before. you might try disabling that

Win7, "classic" theme (i.e., looks like XP), "aero" & all other trash is not enabled, SeaMonkey default theme.

so, that was relatively easy to figure out once i realized that everyone was not seeing the same as i was :-)

oh that happens if you type the same key muoltipole times (like the spacebar to keep the screen from blanking) and then misread the pop-up about caret browsing and give it the wrong answer
