The stright rules at LUG are the main reason for the Linux to reach to the masses

That was my first speech. Even in college I did not give any seminar

So frightened to speak, especially in front of a group

after the session I felt like "God, even I could able to speak" and today in our class also i took the same seminar

many recent joinees dont know about why LUGs are stright on showing linux on the events

I have seen many FOSS events, conferences, where people show MAC and Windows to talk about how they like and use linux on their life

I always question them on the spot itself as why do they dont show linux on the event

they used to say some reason

but, we should live what we preach

I feel the same when someone shows a non linux desktop on a FOSS event/conference

I question them all on the event

because, all the participants will be organizer for some events in future

by the questions and discussions only, all others will be learning silently

As this was my 2nd meet, i do not know anything about the guidelines.. and it all happened through Muthu sir who pointed me towards shrini and IRC and I ended up trying my sessions. So to someone like me who jumped in the middle doesn't have any clue why Nishant is interupting the meeting by asking these small issues. How many would have even noticed it as MAC and not linux. shrini: I have thought my presentation for "Intro to julia" need to be done in Canva, As I dont know on using any ppt softwares. Using Libre Office Impress was tough for me.

Because of guidelines, I have done my ppt using Libreoffice impress for a day, makes me more tough to do as compared to canva.

But, I am satisfied on doing my first ppt in Libre office. I have used only canva for my entire clg life for presentation.
